How it works

Yesterday's permits in your trade, in your inbox, every morning. No portal, no spreadsheet, no 130 columns.

Three steps

1. We watch the city for you. Every morning we pull the official permit feed for your metro.
2. We keep only your trade. Roofing is roofing even when the city writes a long description instead of "roof". Our classifier reads every description.
3. We hand you a clean list. Address, issue date, permit type, what the work is, declared value, and the contractor of record as the city published it. CSV and a web dashboard, with a digest email each morning.

You stay the first call. A fresh permit means the job is starting now.

What is in each row

Address, issue date, permit type, what the work is, declared value, and the contractor of record as the city published it. Subscribers also get the permit id and a link to the city's record.

We never add homeowner names, phone numbers or email addresses. See data sources for what we remove.

What you see before you pay

Ask for the last 7 days of your metro and trade. You get an email with a confirmation link. When you click it, we send the CSV as a link that works for 15 minutes. The sample shows a street number range and ZIP, not the exact address. If you want it every morning, subscribe.

• Austin: 1,166 permits in the last 7 days. 91% name a contractor.
• Chicago: 691 permits in the last 7 days. 96% name a contractor.

Updated 2026-10-22, from public records published by each city.

Where it comes from

Public records, published by the city. We use the city's open data portal and its documented API or bulk download. No logins, no scraping behind a login. Trade labels come from fixed keyword rules written in plain text, so a label can be wrong. We say so on every product page.

Price

$49 a month. The same records cost $299 to $1,999 a month elsewhere. $49 a month for one metro and one trade, or $129 a month for all trades in a metro. Annual billing costs 10 months instead of 12.
