Questions
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time. Use the Manage billing button on your dashboard to open the Stripe customer portal, where you can cancel and see when your current period ends.
What does "public record" mean?
A city runs a permit office and publishes the permits it issues on an open data portal. We read that portal and republish the rows. We add nothing from other sources, no homeowner names, no phone numbers and no email addresses. The data sources page lists each dataset.
How does annual billing work?
Annual billing costs 10 months instead of 12. You pay once a year.
Are the permits exclusive to me?
No. Public records are public, and other people can get the same rows. You are paying for a clean daily list, delivered the same way every day.
Do you give homeowner contact details?
No. The files hold what the city publishes about the permit and the licensed contractor business. They do not hold homeowner phone numbers or emails.
What about refunds?
Refunds are handled on request. Email [email protected] and tell us what went wrong.
How do I pay?
Through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Will I get results?
We cannot promise results. We publish a list of permits. What you do with it is up to you.
