Plain-language terms for using PermitsByBada. They are not legal advice.

The service

PermitsByBada publishes lists of building permits that a city has issued. A subscription gives you daily CSV and JSON files for one metro and trade, or one metro and all trades, a daily email and access to the dashboard.

Subscriptions and cancellation

Subscriptions renew monthly or annually until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the Stripe customer portal. Prices are on the pricing page. Refunds are handled on request through the contact page.

The data

The data is as published by the city. We give no warranty of accuracy or completeness. Cities correct, delay or leave out records, and our labels, such as trade, come from rules that make mistakes. Check a record at the source before you rely on it.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the data to harass anyone.
• Do not use the data in a way that breaks consumer protection law.
• You are responsible for following the law on any outreach you do with the data. Examples are do-not-call rules and CAN-SPAM. This is a plain statement of who is responsible, not legal advice.

No resale

Do not resell, share or republish the files without our written permission. Using them inside your own business is fine.

Liability

We provide the service as it is. We are not liable for lost sales, lost profits or other indirect loss from using it. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
